Build mode
The AI that actually edits your app — screens, theme, pages, and more.
Switch to Build
In the chat pane, select the Build segment (not Chat). Placeholder text says “Describe what you want to build…”
How to ask for changes
Write like you are briefing a designer + developer:
- “Add a Gallery page with three sample photos.”
- “Rename the app to Harbor Coffee and update the home headline.”
- “Make primary buttons coral; keep backgrounds cream.”
- “Simplify the booking flow to three steps.”
Attach reference images when helpful. Use Target a page so the agent focuses that screen (this does not change which page the preview shows — use the preview Page dropdown for that).
Choose an Agent focus
Auto is the default and combines the right specialties for each request. Use the focus pill when you want one discipline to lead:
- Mobile Designer - native UI, hierarchy, motion, accessibility, and visual refinement.
- App Developer - features, integrations, native capabilities, and export/build compatibility.
- Database Engineer - Supabase schemas, authentication, RLS, functions, and connected data UI.
Focus changes the agent's priorities, not its capabilities. Your choice is remembered separately for each app.
Stop, Undo, questions
- Stop — halt a running agent turn.
- Undo — restore the snapshot from before that run.
- Sometimes the agent asks you a question or needs a secret key — answer in the panel / credential card, then continue.
Build vs Chat
Only Build can change the app. If you are in Chat and ask for edits, the assistant will tell you to switch to Build.
